Abu Hassan: The Head of the Parliamentary Economy and Investment Committee, MP Khaled Abu Hassan, announced that the draft buildings and lands legislation, which the Lower House is set to debate in the upcoming session, will not result in any tax increases.
According to Jordan News Agency, Abu Hassan emphasized that the draft legislation is designed not to impact taxpayers with tax hikes. Instead, it aims to reduce taxes, as promised by the prime minister and the House. This assurance comes as part of the government’s commitment to alleviate financial burdens on citizens.
Furthermore, Abu Hassan highlighted that an agreement has been reached with the government to initiate dialogues with all sectors over the coming months. This initiative seeks to clarify the provisions of the draft law and address any ambiguities that stakeholders might have, ensuring transparency and understanding across the board.
