Amman: The Ministry of Water and Irrigation /Water Authority continued its series of awareness sessions and lectures for school students in various regions across the Kingdom: The Ministry of Water and Irrigation / Water Authority has persisted in its efforts to educate school students about water conservation through a series of awareness sessions held in different areas of the Kingdom.
According to Jordan News Agency, the Water Authority organized an awareness meeting on Sunday for female students at May Ziyadah Secondary School for Girls in Amman. This session was centered around discussing Jordan’s water situation, the challenges it encounters, and effective methods for water usage by adopting responsible behaviors to conserve this vital resource.
The statement from the ministry highlighted the significance of activating the role of water clubs within schools. These clubs are encouraged to participate actively in protecting water resources and minimizing waste, contributing to resolving the challenges faced by the water sector.
Furthermore, the session featured the screening of videos aimed at familiarizing students with the realities of water scarcity in Jordan, techniques for water conservation, and the distribution of educational materials to motivate students to adopt proper water usage practices.
