Civil Defense Responds to Over 1,500 Incidents in 24 Hours

Amman: The Civil Defense Directorate (CDD) responded to 1,567 emergencies across the Kingdom in the past 24 hours, including emergency medical cases, rescue operations, and firefighting incidents, with an average response time of under eight minutes.

According to Jordan News Agency, the directorate managed 1,411 emergency medical cases with an average response time of 7 minutes and 36 seconds. Rescue teams attended to 95 incidents with an average time of 7 minutes and 34 seconds, while firefighting teams addressed 61 fires with an average response time of 7 minutes and 33 seconds.

The CDD reaffirmed its high level of preparedness and its commitment to providing effective emergency services around the clock. It also urged the public to adhere to safety guidelines and cooperate with its personnel in all situations to help safeguard lives and property.
