Israel’s Renewed Offensive in Gaza Claims Over 1,000 Lives

Gaza City: Israel’s military actions in Gaza have resulted in the deaths of 1,066 Gazans and left 2,597 injured since the offensive resumed on March 18, 2025.

According to Jordan News Agency, the Gaza Ministry of Health released its daily statistical report on Thursday, which highlighted that 24 individuals were killed and 55 injured in the past 24 hours alone.

The ministry’s report also emphasized the challenges faced by emergency services, noting that numerous victims remain trapped under debris and are scattered across the streets. These conditions have significantly hindered the efforts of ambulance and civil defense teams to evacuate and assist the casualties effectively.

The ongoing conflict has seen a sharp increase in casualties, with the overall death toll since the beginning of the Israeli aggression on October 7, 2023, now standing at 50,423, accompanied by 114,638 injuries.
