Amman: Director General of Maqasid Charity Hospital, Dr. Bassam Shloul, announced the hospital has provided treatment to over 53,000 patients countrywide since the start of the free medical days in 2018.
According to Jordan News Agency, Dr. Shloul noted that the hospital has implemented 104 free medical days across Jordan’s governorates. These initiatives aim to provide medical care to local communities, with support from the Jordanian Zakat Fund of the Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs and Holy Places.
Dr. Shloul highlighted that the hospital’s most recent activity was held last Sunday, serving 400 patients in the Hasa and Jurf districts in the southern Tafilah governorate. This event was part of the ongoing free medical day program.
Dr. Shloul emphasized that the hospital is the first endowment healthcare facility in the Kingdom and the region, offering a comprehensive range of medical specialties and services.
