Abu Dhabi: His Majesty King Abdullah II met on Tuesday with United Arab Emirates President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan in Abu Dhabi. The meeting, held at Al Bateen Palace, focused on the strong ties between the two countries and explored ways to enhance cooperation in various areas.
According to Jordan News Agency, the leaders emphasized the importance of maintaining coordination on issues of mutual interest to strengthen the security and stability of both nations and to support Arab causes. They also discussed regional developments, particularly efforts to halt the conflict in Gaza, facilitate the flow of humanitarian aid, curb escalations in the West Bank, and oppose any attempts to displace Palestinians from their land.
Sheikh Mohamed hosted an iftar for His Majesty and his accompanying delegation, which included Prime Minister Jafar Hassan, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi, and Director of the Office of His Majesty Alaa Batayneh. Earlier, King Abdullah was welcomed at Al Bateen Executive Airport by Sheikh Mohamed and other senior officials, who also bid him farewell at the end of the visit.
