Jenin: An Israeli military campaign in the Jenin refugee camp, located in the north of the occupied West Bank, persisted for the 63rd consecutive day on Monday. This has led to rising evictions, home demolitions, and families being displaced, as reported by Palestinian sources.
According to Jordan News Agency, the occupation army has sent additional reinforcements into the Jenin refugee camp. Bulldozers have been used to destroy streets and open new roads, while troops patrol neighborhoods and drones hover overhead. This has resulted in the displacement of approximately 21,000 people from the Jenin camp, who have sought refuge in Jenin city and nearby villages.
In Tulkarm, southwest of Jenin, an army offensive in the Tulkarm refugee camp has been ongoing for 57 days. A similar campaign in the Nur Shams refugee camp is in its 44th day. These operations have led to increasing forced evictions and widespread destruction of infrastructure, as noted by local residents.
The occupation army has ordered residents of a dozen homes in the al-Rabaia neighborhood of Tulkarm camp to vacate by 10:30 AM today. Evictions have also been conducted in the al-Muqata’a neighborhood, where homes have been seized and converted into military posts, according to residents.
Elsewhere in the West Bank, Israeli forces have arrested 28 Palestinians during raids across various areas, as reported by the Palestinian Prisoners Club.
