Amman: Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign and Expatriates Affairs Ayman Safadi met on Monday with Syrian Foreign Minister Asaad Shaibani ahead of the ninth Brussels Conference in Support of Syria.
According to Jordan News Agency, the discussions focused on the situation in Syria, with Safadi underscoring Jordan’s commitment to supporting Syria’s reconstruction on principles that safeguard its security, territorial integrity, and the rights of the Syrian people. The two ministers also explored ways to enhance cooperation in sectors such as energy, trade, transportation, and security.
