Amman: Female inmates at Juwaida Women’s Rehabilitation and Correctional Center welcomed their families on Sunday for a Ramadan iftar gathering, fostering an atmosphere of compassion and connection. The event brought together mothers, children, and loved ones in a warm, family-oriented setting.
According to Jordan News Agency, the gathering, followed by a Ramadan evening program, is part of a series of social and humanitarian initiatives organized by the Public Security Directorate (PSD) throughout the holy month.
The Rehabilitation and Correctional Centers Department has been holding similar iftar meetings for inmates and their families across all facilities in the Kingdom, reinforcing its reform-focused policies.
This initiative underscores the PSD’s commitment to strengthening family bonds and supporting the reintegration of inmates into society by emphasizing the importance of family connections in the rehabilitation process.
