Arab Leaders Convene in Cairo for Emergency Summit on Gaza

Cairo: Arab leaders began arriving in Cairo on Monday to attend an emergency Arab summit hosted by Egypt to discuss the ongoing situation in Gaza. Several leaders arrived on official visits in response to an invitation from President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi to participate in the summit, which aims to unify the Arab stance and reaffirm opposition to the displacement of the Palestinian people.

According to Jordan News Agency, the summit comes amid widespread Arab and international condemnation of Israel’s decision on Sunday to halt humanitarian aid deliveries to Gaza.
