Amman: The United Nations, through its spokesperson, St©phane Dujarric, expressed deep concern on Wednesday regarding Israel’s ongoing violations of Syria’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, as well as breaches of the 1974 disengagement agreement between the forces.
According to Jordan News Agency, Dujarric emphasized the necessity of “respecting all obligations under international law,” noting that “each time airstrikes or violations occur on Syrian territory, it significantly increases the risk of renewed violence, which in turn escalates violence and regional instability.”
He also mentioned that the movement of humanitarian aid trucks from Turkiye to Idlib via the Bab al-Hawa border crossing continues, with 43 trucks carrying over 1,000 tons of food supplies from the World Food Program, in addition to blankets, solar lamps, and other materials provided by the International Organization for Migration.
