Dubai: Chairman of the Jordan Exporters Association (JEA), Ahmad Khudari, on Monday inaugurated the Jordanian industrial companies’ pavilion at the Gulfood 2025 exhibition, held at the Dubai World Trade Center.
According to Jordan News Agency, this marks the twentieth participation of the Jordanian pavilion, which includes 36 food industry companies, alongside 5,500 exhibitors from 129 countries. Khudari emphasized the association’s commitment to strengthening Jordanian exporters’ presence in international exhibitions, enabling them to access global and non-traditional markets.
The five-day exhibition provides a platform to showcase the Jordanian food industry’s quality and competitiveness, which have facilitated entry into global markets, added Khudari. The Jordanian participation spans 716 square meters, reflecting companies’ dedication to expanding their international footprint.
President of the Jordan Chamber of Industry, Fathi Jaghbir, highlighted Jordan’s continued participation in Gulfood, noting its role in boosting exports and market expansion. He stressed that the exhibition fosters partnerships with global suppliers, distributors, and importers.
JEA Director General Halim Abu Rahma outlined the diversity of Jordanian exhibitors, representing industries such as meat, poultry, sweets, baked goods, dairy, cheese, spices, and coffee. He described Gulfood as one of the world’s largest food and beverage exhibitions, offering valuable opportunities for partnerships and industry insights.
Since its establishment in 1988, the JEA has played a key role in promoting Jordanian industrial exports, diversifying markets, and expanding the export base, with a presence in key markets such as the United States, Canada, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, and France.
