The Palestinian Foreign Ministry held the UN Security Council fully responsible for the repercussions of its continued failure to stop the war of annihilation against the Palestinian people.
In a statement on Wednesday, the ministry called on the Security Council to assume its legal responsibilities and exercise its powers to provide protection for the Palestinian people, stop all manifestations of genocide committed by the occupation forces, including the war of starvation, denial of treatment, and forms of forced displacement in the northern Gaza Strip, and take the necessary binding measures to implement international legitimacy resolutions to ensure the immediate cessation of the war.
It also warned of the dangers of any proposed plans aimed at perpetuating the separation between the two parts of the Palestinian homeland in order to destroy the opportunity to materialize the Palestinian state on the ground.
