Bajel district in Hodeida province hosted commemorative vigils on Wednesday at the Applied College of Science and Technology, the Community College, and al-Israa Hospital, marking the first anniversary of al-Aqsa Flood Battle under the theme “The Flood of Liberation.”
Participants emphasized the importance of unity and collaboration among Arab and Islamic communities in confronting shared challenges. They called for a significant movement from Arab nations to halt normalization efforts with the occupying entity and to strengthen Islamic awareness of resistance as a means to confront Zionist aggression and liberate Palestine.
The attendees viewed Al-Aqsa Flood Battle, executed by courageous resistance factions within the Zionist rear, as a pivotal moment and a genuine step toward pride, dignity, and victory for sacred sites.
A statement from the organizers praised the resilience of the Palestinian resistance in facing the Zionist entity, asserting that this struggle represents a source of pride for the nat
ion and a crucial path toward reclaiming Palestinian rights and sovereignty.
The statement urged support for the popular will of the Resistance Movement, which continues the fight stemming from the Al-Aqsa Flood in defense of the Palestinian people, their land, and holy places against ongoing Zionist aggression.
It condemned the international community’s silence regarding the crimes of the Zionist occupation as a disgrace and complicity in the violence faced by the Palestinian people.
The statement also criticized recent normalization efforts by several Arab regimes with the usurping entity, viewing them as conspiratorial actions against the Palestinian cause-an issue that remains central for the Arab nations and a significant betrayal of their collective struggles.
