– According to the National Center for Meteorology, moderate to torrential thundershowers accompanied by strong winds are forecast for Saturday in some parts of Jazan, Aseer, Al-Baha and Makkah regions. Thunderclouds are forecast for Najran and Madinah regions.
Winds over the Red Sea will be northwesterly to southwesterly, reaching 20 to 40km/h. Waves may reach from one and a half to two meters; the sea will be choppy.
In the Arabian Gulf, winds will be northwesterly to westerly, registering speeds of 18 to 38km/h. Waves may range from a meter to one meter and a half, and the sea will be relatively calm to choppy.
