Some 85 Jewish extremist settlers early Monday stormed Al-Aqsa Mosque / Haram Al Sharif compound in occupied East Jerusalem.
A statement by the Islamic Awqaf Department in Jerusalem said that the dozens of the radical settlers carried out today’s raids from Al-Magharebah Gate in groups under heavy protection of Israeli special police, and provocatively toured the mosque’s yards.
The occupation police imposed tight restrictions on the entry of Muslim worshipers to Al-Aqsa, and seized their ID cards in order to secure the settlers’ storming.
