71 underpriviliged students offered unversity scholarships at public universities-HCAE

Horizons Charity Association for Education (HCAE) has provided 71 university scholarships at public universities to housheolds benefiting from National Aid Fund (NAF) programs.

 

According to a HCAE statement released on Sunday, these scholarships come as part of the association’s cooperation agreement with Jordanian-Palestinian Business Forum and the NAF.

 

71 students, who got a 90 average score, or above in General Secondary Education Certificate Examination (Tawjihi), benefited from the agreement and all are family members benefiting from NAF aid, the statement added.

 

NAF Acting Director General, Barq Damour, said its priority aims to provide unversity education to family members benefiting from its programs and contribute to empowering those groups economically.

 

He lauded HCAE’s support and implementation of the agreement signed with NAF and provision of university scholarships to beneficiaries from the fund’s programs.

 

This agreement serves undepriviliged families and contributes to alleviating their burdens in terms of university education expenses, he pointed out.

 

Established in 2oo7, HCAE seeks to assist needy university students to pursue their degrees and then prepare alumni to join the labor market by holding workshops to improve their social conditions.
