Aqaba: Al Aman Fund for the Future of Orphans concluded its “Journey of Innovation and Digital Empowerment” training program, implemented this month with support from Jordan Bromine Company. A total of 43 youth participated in the initiative, benefiting from the fund’s programs in the southern Aqaba and Karak governorates.
According to Jordan News Agency, the participants received training in digital skills, artificial intelligence, entrepreneurship, and the use of modern digital tools. The youth engaged in interactive and brainstorming sessions aimed at developing initial entrepreneurial ideas and projects.
During the closing ceremony, Thabet Nabulsi, Commissioner for Youth and Tourism Affairs at Aqaba Special Economic Zone Authority (ASEZA), and Ahmed Ghunaimat, Director of Queen Rania Center for Community Development, emphasized the importance of partnerships among national institutions and companies in supporting Jordanian youth’s innovations and skills development. They stated that these partnerships will enable beneficiaries to keep pace with the latest developments in various industries.
Nour Hmoud, the Fund’s Director General, highlighted that the collaboration with Jordan Bromine Company is a model of sustainable social responsibility. It provides new opportunities and essential skills for Jordanian youth to become resilient to challenges and self-reliant leaders in the future. Tariq Kharabsheh, the Fund’s Program Director, reiterated the fund’s commitment to developing youth skills, particularly in modern technology and artificial intelligence, to enhance their readiness for the labor market.
A video was also screened during the event, summarizing the “Journey of Innovation and Digital Empowerment” experience and documenting the training’s impact on participants, who achieved notable results.
