Aqaba: Jordanian Seismological Observatory (JSO) recorded an earthquake measuring 4.0 on the Richter scale in the Gulf of Aqaba at 2:42 pm on Thursday.
According to Jordan News Agency, JSO Director, Ghassan Sweidan, stated that the earthquake, which occurred 60 km south of Aqaba at a depth of 19 km, was “locally felt.”
