266,000 Students Joined ‘Siraj’ Learning Platform: Education Ministry

Amman: Minister of Education Dr. Azmi Mahafzeh announced that the ministry has initiated efforts to promote the national AI-powered learning platform, "Siraj," across Jordan's schools. The platform has already seen significant uptake, with approximately 266,000 students creating accounts.

According to Jordan News Agency, Dr. Mahafzeh revealed that 60,000 teachers have been trained to utilize the platform. His remarks were made during his participation in a workshop titled "The Strategy for Designing 'Siraj' Smart Assistant Intervention in Education," organized by the ministry.

Dr. Mahafzeh emphasized that the platform is a "vital project for all stakeholders in the educational process," and the ministry is committed to enhancing its effectiveness. He also highlighted plans for future expansion, noting that all students and teachers in Jordan's public, private, UNRWA, and military schools will soon have access to the platform.

The workshop served as a platform to unify national perspectives on the "Siraj" portal, calling for its integration into a comprehensive educational program to meet its goals for students, teachers, and the broader educational system. Continuous assessment and testing were urged to ensure the platform's effective use and development.

Participants also stressed the importance of a gradual and well-planned expansion of the platform's utilization, based on its demonstrated success. They advocated for the integration of the workshop's outcomes into the operational action plan to further the platform's objectives.
