Anti-Narcotics Department (AND) personnel on Tuesday seized 209,000 narcotic pills near the Omari border crossing.
The Public Security Department (PSD) spokesperson said AND personnel were tipped off on a quantity of narcotics hidden in an area near the Omari border crossing.
The AND personnel headed to the area, conducted the search and found bags of the Captagon inside of which were 209,000 narcotic pills, the PSD spokesperson added.
An investigation was initiated and search are underway for the suspects involved in the case, the PSD spokesperson concluded.
