2 Injured by Gunfire in Northern Jordan Valley

Al-Manshieh: Two individuals were injured by gunshots on Saturday during a fight in the town of Al-Manshieh in the Northern Jordan Valley district. The incident led to immediate intervention from security forces and emergency services.

According to Jordan News Agency, the Public Security Directorate (PSD) spokesperson reported that a quarrel broke out among a group of people in the Al-Manshieh area. Security forces quickly arrived at the scene to disperse the fight. As a result of the altercation, two people were injured and received assistance from Civil Defense personnel before being taken to Muath Bin Jabal Hospital. Efforts are currently underway to apprehend those involved in the incident.

Hospital director Osama Abu Snaineh informed that the emergency department received two individuals, aged 56 and 29, who had sustained gunshot injuries. The older individual suffered two gunshot wounds in both thighs and was subsequently transferred to Princess Basma Teaching Hospital, where his condition is considered moderate. The second individual was treated for a gunshot wound to the side and is also in moderate condition.
