Occupied Jerusalem: According to a statement released by the Islamic Awqaf Department in Jerusalem, approximately 12,000 Palestinian worshippers performed Friday prayer at the Al-Aqsa Mosque / Al-Haram Al-Sharif, despite the Israeli occupation police tightening security measures in the occupied city of Jerusalem, especially the Old City.
The occupation used tear gas canisters and wastewater to suppress the Jerusalemites.
The occupation also set up checkpoints in the Wadi Al-Joz neighborhood of Jerusalem, assaulted and suppressed the locals, and injured numerous of them.
