12 Ballistic missiles hit Iraq’s Erbil early Sunday

Twelve ballistic missiles launched from outside Iraq struck the country’s northern Kurdish regional capital Erbil on Sunday, Iraqis official sources said.

“Several missiles landed near the US consulate building,” the sources added, noting that there were no casualties.

Satellite broadcast channel Kurdistan24, which is located near the US consulate, has been also affected by the attack. The channel went on air shortly after the attack, showing shattered glass and debris on their studio floor.
