Security forces Saturday arrested a group of people after a brawl in a neighborhood of Zarqa city, in which a man appeared in a video saying he was beaten up and assaulted with a sharp object.
The Public Security Directorate’s media spokesman said in a statement that the Zarqa police were tipped off that a fight involving a number of people broke out over previous disputes, and that one of them complained he was beaten up and attacked with a sharp object.
The man headed to hospital in a vehicle accompanied by his brother, but they had an accident on the way in which he suffered moderate injuries and was treated in hospital.
The spokesman said police began an investigation and gathered medical reports, and the case was referred to the judiciary.
