Yarmouk University, French Sorbonne sign archeology agreement

Yarmouk University signed on Wednesday a cooperation agreement with French Sorbonne University in the archeology and heritage fields.

The agreement aims to ramp up joint cooperation in the domain of archaeological excavations and field works, to hold conferences and symposia, and to exchange faculty members and students.

Commenting on the agreement, Dean of the Faculty of Archeology and Anthropology, Dr. Hani Hayajneh, said the deal culminates the university’s efforts aimed at launching partnerships with European institutions concerned with cultural heritage.
