NEPCO&#8217;s spokesperson, Mohammad Maharmeh, told the Jordan News Agency (Petra) that electricity loads on Sunday increased by 17 per cent compared to yesterday&#8217;s figures, due to the high temperatures and the heatwave currently affecting the Kingdom, explaining that the network is capable of accommodating these loads. No case of large scale and continuous power outages have been recorded in Amman, Maharmeh said, noting that complaints received by emergency rooms so far is individual outages and within the normal range.
