Precipitation levels since the start of winter increased to 85.5 percent of Jordan’s long-term average of 8.1 billion cubic meters, the Ministry of Water and Irrigation said on Sunday.<\/p>\n
The highest rainfall of 21.4 millimeters was recorded in Madaba in the last 24 hours, constituting 72.4 percent of the annual average.<\/p>\n
A total of 700,000 cubic meters were channeled into dams, upping their storage to 117 million cubic meters, or 41.65 of their total capacity of 280.759 million cubic meters.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
