A Cabinet session held Sunday, headed by Prime Minister Dr. Bisher Khasawneh, approved the mandating reasons for an amended draft bylaw for licensing driving training centers for 2022.<\/P>
<\/P>
Under the amendments, military retirees, who already completed driving instructor courses at military institutes, will be granted training permits after undergoing an evaluation test from Jordan Traffic Institute (JTI).<\/P>
<\/P>
The Council of Ministers also approved the mandating reasons for the 2022 draft bylaw of terms and conditions to determe customs value, aimed to find legislative texts that allow Jordan Customs Department (JCD) to set the customs value of imported goods, in line with the related law in force and international agreements.<\/P>
<\/P>
On the other hand, the Cabinet approved the recommendations of the settlement and conciliation committee related to settling pending cases between 313 companies and taxpayers and Income and Sales Tax Department (ISTD).<\/P>
<\/P>
The Cabinet also approved the recommendations of the committee tasked to solve outstanding claims between taxpayers and\/or violators, and Jordan Customs Department to settle 20 cases.<\/P>
<\/P>
To complete settlements, beneficiaries must pay the full due amounts with any fees, taxes or expenses within a 2-month period from the date of this government’s decision.<\/P>
