The Ukrainian Ministry of Economy announced that its estimates of the country’s direct economic losses as a result of the war amounted to $565 billion, in addition to $54 billion losses in capital investments.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
“Losses include $119 billion relate to infrastructure, and $91 billion are losses to civil utilities”, the National News Agency of Ukraine, Ukrinform, cited Deputy Minister of Economy Ihor Diadiura as saying on Sunday via a telethon.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
Diadiura said that his country needs several years to recover economically.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
In turn, Ukrainian Finance Minister Sergii Marchenko said on March 24 international partners have provided Ukraine with more than $2 billion and 1 billion euros in aid since the start of the war.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
