{"id":57867,"date":"2022-01-02T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2022-01-02T00:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/jordannewsgazette.com\/?guid=a6d85319adfd61bc50560632fe8eb42c"},"modified":"2022-01-02T00:00:00","modified_gmt":"2022-01-02T00:00:00","slug":"trade-deficit-up-by-30-5-in-2021","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/jordannewsgazette.com\/trade-deficit-up-by-30-5-in-2021\/","title":{"rendered":"Trade deficit up by 30.5% in 2021"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Jordan&#8217;s trade balance deficit in the January-October period of 2021 increased by 30.5 percent, hitting JD7.060 billion compared to JD5.412 billion in the same period of 2020.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>According to a monthly report issued by the Department of Statistics (DoS) on Sunday, total exports in the January-October period of 2021 reached JD5.330 billion, up by 15.9 compared with the JD4.597 billion recorded in the same period of 2020.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>National exports in the same period of 2021 rose by 18.1 percent, reaching JD4.848 billion compared to JD4.105 billion in the same period of 2020, figures showed.
