The total number of global COVID-19 cases has surged to 263.4 million, as of Thursday, according to the Johns Hopkins University.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
In its latest update, the University revealed that the global death toll has so far reached around 5.2 million<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
The website said that the United States is the worst-hit country with the world\u2019s highest number of COVID-19 cases and deaths, followed by India and Brazil.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
