COVID-19 killed eight in Jordan in the last 24 hours, as the death toll stands at 10,624 and a total of 1,075 cases were recorded, pushing the caseload to some 814,670, according to the Ministry of Health (MoH).<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
The MoH said in a press statement Monday that 3.5 percent of the 30,600 tests conducted today came back positive.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
It said 71 people had recovered and were discharged from hospitals while 69 others were admitted, as the total number of COVID-19 patients receiving medical treatment in hospitals hit 497.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
The number of active COVID-19 cases in the Kingdom hovers around 12,330, it added.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
Some 791,725 COVID-19 patients, including patients who had been self-isolating, have fully recovered so far.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
