The Ministry of Health announced 10 Covid-19 fatalities and 582 new cases were recorded in the Kingdom on Thursday, bringing the death toll to 9, 703 and the caseload to 748, 685.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
There are currently 6, 507 active COVID-19 cases in Jordan, announced the media statement issued by the Prime Ministry and the Ministry of Health.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
The statement added that the number of hospitalizations today stood at 59, while 39 patients have recovered and discharged, the statement noted.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
According to the briefing, the total number of recoveries recorded on Thursday, whether at hospitals or at home, stood at 343, bringing the total to 732,475 since the outbreak began.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
Moreover, the number of Covid-19 patients still receiving treatment at hospitals countrywide has reached 473.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
The statement also indicated that occupancy of the ICU bed capacity has hit 12%, 26%, and 6%, in the northern, central, and southern regions, respectively.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
With regard to testing, 19,553 tests were conducted Thursday, 2.98 percent of which were positive.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
Since March, 2020, the total number of tests administered has increased to 7,758,637, the joint statement noted.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
