\nMoscow: Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov confirmed on Monday Russia’s readiness to negotiate on the conflict in Ukraine following statements by Pope Francis on resolving the conflict.<\/p>\n
Russian President Vladimir Putin has expressed his readiness to negotiate on more than one occasion, Peskov said during a press conference. He noted that this is the best way to resolve the conflict in Ukraine.<\/p>\n
According to Peskov, Pope Francis’s remarks on the conflict in Ukraine are more of an appeal for dialogue than a request for Ukraine to submit.<\/p>\n
