Temperatures on Wednesday are expected to hover around their annual average, bringing warm weather conditions in the hilly areas, and moderate in other parts of the country, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said in its daily update.
At night, cooler weather will prevail in most regions, with clouds appearing at low altitudes, and northwesterly moderate to brisk winds, the JMD added.
A slight rise in temperatures is expected on Thursday and over the weekend, bringing a warmer-than-average fall days.
The highs in Amman and other highlands across the Kingdom today will range between 24 and 23 degrees Celsius, dropping at night to 14C or even 11C in the southern highlands. In the Gulf city of Aqaba, it will be hotter with mercury reaching a high of 31C and a low of 20C.
