Warm weather expected until Tuesday
Moderate and spring-like conditions will prevail on Sunday across the Kingdom with low clouds and northwesterly moderate winds, according to Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD).
A tangible rise in temperatures is expected on Monday becoming 9-10 degree above their seasonal average. Therefore, warm weather will prevail in the hilly areas and the Badia regions, while it will be relatively hot in the Jordan Valley and Aqaba with high clouds. Winds will be south easterly moderate to brisk, blowing dust at times, the JMD said.
On Tuesday evening, cloudy skies are forecast over various parts of the country with a chance for light showers at night in the southern and eastern regions, the JMD added.
Daytime temperatures in Amman and the northern cities will range between a high of 22 degrees Celsius and a low of 12 degrees, while mercury levels in Aqaba will register a high of 31 degrees sliding down to 20 degrees at night.
