Vaccines sole path to restore normal life – says Al-Shboul

State Minister for Media Affairs Faisal Al-Shboul said that the continuation of the defense law aims preserving Jordanian laborers at the private sector, and urging citizens and residents to get COVID-19 vaccine.

In an interview with Al Mamlaka TV on Thursday, Al-Shboul has applied circulars related to the defense orders within the narrowest limits in accordance with the Royal directive.

He added that the defense orders came to apply a set of rules that encourage all to get COVID-19 vaccine due to its key and sole role in restoring normal life.

54 per cent of the target received the COVID-19 vaccine, compared to 30 per cent of the refugees and residents, Al-Should revealed.

Commenting on festival and events, he noted that tourism sector is one of the hardest-hit sectors due to the pandemic, as such activities have contributed to reinvigorating the economic movement, stressing that festival agents have complied with health protocols.

Sanad application is the responsibility of the facilities and citizens are obliged to download the application to enter any facility, Al-Shboul said, adding that people can show their personal ID, health ID or vaccination certificate instead.

He reiterated on the continuation of the in-class education at schools and universities, stressing that most of the infected persons at this stage are between the ages of 10 and 17 and they do not need to be admitted to hospitals.
