UPDATE: 528 Palestinians injured as Israeli forces attack protesters on Gaza border

Gaza, More than 500 Palestinians were injured by Israeli occupation forces on Friday as they attacked peaceful protests of the ongoing Great March of Return on the eastern border of the Gaza Strip, said medical sources.

Spokesman for the Palestinian Health Ministry in Gaza, Ashraf al-Qudrah said soldiers opened gunfire and fired teargas canisters at the non-violent protesters at many locations on the eastern border of the Gaza Strip with Israel, injuring at least 528 protesters, 30 of them sustained gunfire wounds.
