Temperatures on Thursday are forecast to be around their annual average, with fair weather conditions prevailing countrywide, and northwesterly moderate to brisk winds, according to the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD).
On Friday and Saturday, the Kingdom will be affected by unstable weather conditions, bringing clouds at various altitudes and a slight chance for scattered showers in different regions, accompanied by thunder at times.
Mercury levels are expected to slightly drop on Sunday to become below annual average, but fair autumn weather will persist in most parts of the country.
The highs in Amman and other highlands across the Kingdom today will range between 260 and 23 degrees Celsius, dropping at night to 14C or even 10C in the southern highlands. In the Gulf city of Aqaba, it will be hotter with mercury reaching a high of 33C and a low of 20C.
