Ukraine Lifts Entry Ban For Adult Russian Males – Border Guards Service

Amman, Ukraine has lifted the entry ban for Russian males aged 16-60 but the State Border Guard Service continues to screen closely all Russian nationals entering the country, clarifying the purpose of the visit to Ukraine, service’s spokesman Oleh Slobodian said on Friday.

The ban was introduced on November 30 as part of restrictions under the martial law declared by President Petro Poroshenko.

But the State Border Guard Service will continue to screen all citizens of Russia, clarifying the purpose of their visit to Ukraine. After that, decisions on the appropriateness of their entry into our country are taken,” Slobodian said in a commentary.
