The UK Monday announced it is giving France 48 hours to withdraw its threats over the fishing rights dispute following Brexit, as London wans it would trigger legal action against Paris.
Sky News cited the British Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs, Liz Truss said the French had made “unreasonable threats” about fishing rights and the possibility of a trade war, adding Paris must withdraw its threats to avoid escalation.
