The UK’s health department Monday reported 40 COVID-19 deaths, as the death toll stands at 136,208.
The Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC) said some 37,960 people tested positive for the highly contagious lung disease, taking the caseload across the UK to more than 7.7 million.
