A total of 2,694 COVID-19 infections were recorded in the UK Saturday, a slight decrease from Friday’s 2,829, as the caseload nears 4.5 million, according to the Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC).
The highly respiratory disease killed six people compared with nine yesterday, taking the death toll in the kingdom to 127,716, the DHSC added.
