A total of 2,412 COVID-19 cases were recorded in the UK Tuesday, pushing the caseload to a close to 4.5 million, according to the Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC).
COVID-19 killed seven people in the last 24 hours, taking the death toll to 127,697, the DHSC added.
