A total of 2,047 COVID-19 cases were recorded in the UK Saturday, a decrease from 2,490 infections recorded in the previous day, pushing the caseload to more than 4.4 million, according to the Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC).
COVID-19 killed 5 people in the last 24 hours, a decrease from 15 fatalities recorded in the previous day, taking the death toll in the kingdom to 127,603, the DHSC added.
