COVID-19 killed 12 people in the UK Saturday, taking the death toll in the country to 127,896, according to the Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC).
The DHSC said 7,738 people tested positive for the highly contagious respiratory disease, as the caseload nears 4.6 million.
It highlighted that nearly 30 million people have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19, while almost 41.3 million have received one dose.
