Two new COVID-19 cases recorded in Madaba

Two new infections with the coronavirus were recorded on Tuesday in Madaba, some 40km south of Amman.

 

Governor of Madaba Ali al-Madi told Petra that the new cases are a 28-year old man and a man in his fifties and they both have come into contact with confirmed infections.

 

He added that the two were evacuated to a quarantine facility in the Dead Sea region and a contact-tracing operation is underway.
