Two COVID-19 deaths take death toll in Iraq to 90

Baghdad, The Iraqi Ministry of Health confirmed Tuesday two COVID-19 fatalities, bringing the death toll across the country to 90.

The Ministry recorded 81 new infections today, as the caseload exceeds 1,900. With 33 patients recovered, the total number of recoveries reached more than 1,300.

The surge in cases today is due to a gathering at a condolence house in the southern city of Basrah, the Ministry explained.
