Trade balance deficit down 10% in Q1

Amman, The trade balance deficit declined by 10.2 percent in the first quarter of 2019, driven by a 3.2 percent drop in the value of imports.

The Department of Statistics said in a statement that the value of imports was over JD3.2 billion, while national exports rose by 8.5 percent reaching a whopping JD1.1 billion.
